Moody's Gorgeous Life!

Moody's Gorgeous Life is one of my most favorite blogs. Actually, it's on the very top of the list as my numero uno! Pooh first introduced it to me long ago. He stumbled upon it when Queerclick plugged Moody's blog. I love reading about Moody and Timmy's adventures. Like my blog, Moody shares with his readers his love of life, food, travel, shopping, and love for one another. They remind Pooh and I of our own relationship because we both enjoy the same things! I've been told a couple times that my blog is reminiscent to Moody's. I find it quite an honor and a great compliment for someone to relate my blog with Moody's! I really look up to Moody's blog as it inspires me and makes me happy to know there are couples out there just like Pooh and I.

Unfortunately, Moody has announced that his gorgeous blog has now come to an end and he will no longer post after the year has ended. It is quite sad really. Many of his devoted readers and fans like me will no longer be able to tune-in and see what the cute couple living in Japan are up to. Moody wanted to make sure his readers had somewhere to go when his blog has ended (very sweet of him), so he chose a couple blogs to recommend them to visit. Moody chose me as his final recommendation.

I wish both Timmy and Moody the best of luck! I know that despite Moody's Gorgeous blog ending, Moody's gorgeous life with Timmy will go on.

Thank you for the very sweet blog plug Moody! I will truly miss your blog :(

Merry X-mas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Pooh Tribal and I went out for dinner this past Saturday night. We took Tribal to Tofu House to experience Korean Bulgogi for his first time.

It's one of my most favorite dishes.

Afterwards, we headed home to exchange X-mas gifts. Tribal is spending the holiday with his family in Oceanside, Pooh will be celebrating with his family, and I will be all by my lonesome at home so we decided to exchange gifts and open them so we can see eachothers' reactions.

Wow...what a mess we had to clean up :)

-----------------

Tonight, Pooh and I had a Christmas Eve dinner at Kemo Sabe. It was perfect!
I had the Asian Skirts on Fire and Pooh had some Stacked Chicken thing...it was delicious!!!

Afterwards, I dropped Pooh off at his mom's house. His family is having a little get together followed by midnight mass. I decided to stay home and relax.

I definitely can't wait until the holidays are over. That way I can get back to working my normal schedule and I'll have more time to do things. Like go out, go shopping, blog, and watch porn.

I hope everyone is having a great holiday. I wish you all the best! Merry Christmas everyone!

Pooh Pics!

Pooh and I are currently working different schedules for the month of December. I work Monday-Sunday from 9am to 8pm. Pooh works Monday-Saturday from 11am-8pm. We live about 5 minutes away from work so Pooh would drop me off at work and then work out at home before going to work. Pooh took some nice pics for me and emailed them to me :) I thought I'd share them with you guys. I think my Pooh is frikkin hot n sexy!

Dinner, Wine, and Sex!

Last night Pooh and I decided to go out for Japanese food after a long day at work. We thought it'd be nice to just enjoy the evening and relax.

It's been a while since we've been to Ichiban in Hillcrest so we thought we'd go there. They've recently changed their interior a bit by adding new tables and seating. It was cold out and it started to rain, but Pooh and I opted to seat ourselves in the outside patio area. It was nice...we had it all to ourselves!

Pooh had a Caterpillar Roll. It was yummy as always! They are definitely one of my most favorite places to get sushi :)

I decided to get something different this time. I always get the Chicken Bowl. This time, I got the Chicken Thigh Entree...which is actually the same exact thing except the rice and the chicken are served separately. :) There is a difference though! Since the chicken is separate, the rice is not drenched in the spicy yet sweet sauce. I much prefer them separate. Anyway, it was delicious!

I always loved the service at Ichiban. There is a cute little Japanese lady that works there that usually comes by and asks if everything is doing OK. She's awesome! All of the workers there are very pleasant. One of the workers actually recognized both Pooh and I from my blog and mentioned he had read my post on Ichiban On The Rocks. Which by the way, Pooh and I still need to head there and check out some of their entrees.

Afterwards, Pooh and I decided to have a bottle of wine at Bamboo Lounge. It was open mic night so it was a pleasant treat. They also played some nice down-tempo music between performances. It was nice to relax with my Poohburr. We had a bottle of Poyecto Qu4tro (Project 4). I've mentioned it a couple times in previous posts. It is one of my favorites!

After finishing the entire bottle, Pooh and I headed home to chill. The wine got me in a very "good mood" and well...it was definitely a perfect way to end the evening. :)

Seasons Greetings!

Christmas is just around the corner! Pooh and I decided to add a bit of holiday cheer in our home. We got a cute little tree and put up some stockings. One for Pooh, Tribal, and me! Tribal is basically a member of our family so of course he gets one :) This will be Pooh and my first Christmas in our new home; our very own home. I'm very excited!

Work has been ok I guess. The overtime is starting to take a toll on both of us. We're so exhausted by the end of the day and by the time we get out it's too late and we're too tired to go out and do anything. I can't wait until our week of vacation.

I hope everyone is doing well. Happy Holidays!

Talk about "Deck the Halls"...

This place was hella decked out!

Pooh and I were visiting Pooh's mom's house recently and passed by this house. We just had to stop and enjoy the wonderful display of lights and holiday cheer! It stood out because there were no other holiday lights on any of the houses nearby. I thought it was cute :)

---------------------------------

Anyway, I know I haven't been posting much lately, but unfortunately this holiday season has been a bit hard for me. Since I've been promoted (which by the way, has been going great!) I am an exempt employee and will have to work crazy hours for the month of December. Overtime is a bitch! I'm currently working 10 hour days and will have Sunday the 16th as my only day off until the 25th. On the bright side, I'll have a nice week of vacation the 28th through the 2nd. Well, I'm not complaining...I'll take as much as I can get this holiday season :) I hope everyone's holiday season is treating them well. I miss you all very much!

------------------

I'm sure many of you have been wondering what Pooh and I have been up to so I thought I'd catch you all up on the recent adventures Pooh and I have been having.

Pooh decided he'd like to start a collection of images of him with...er well you decide what to call it:

LOL...Pooh is so silly...

----------------------------

Pooh, Tribal, and I recently enjoyed a great bottle of wine along with a cheese platter at Extraordinary Desserts in Little Italy. The cheese is very tasty! It is a bit pricey and portions are minimal but I definitely recommend giving it a try.

-----------------------------

Our company Christmas dinner was held at Roy's in La Jolla. Their food was incredible! Their appetizers were simply scrumptulescent and the entrees were impeccable! I think anyone who enjoys fine dining and a great meal should try Roy's for a night.

-----------------------------

Pooh spent our last weekend off before starting our holiday hours just spending nice quality time together. We just drove around and enjoyed what the beautiful day had to offer! We randomly decided to stop by Ikea, since we were in the area, for a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun. Yum!

Can you tell I have a cold? :(

We later went to Balboa Park for a nice romantic stroll at night to enjoy the lights!
Pooh took some pictures with his Nikon. I'll post them as soon as he uploads them :) The only images I snapped were pretty random.

Pooh and I slow danced in the very same spot we slow danced a couple years ago; back when Pooh and I didn't live together and we first were dating. I thought it was sweet :) I love slow dancing with Pooh when we're out alone and it's silent. I love to hear the music in my mind and just forget about anyone and anything around us. It's a wonderful feeling.

We then headed home and enjoyed a delicious pizza dinner.

Yummy!

------------------------

Last night Pooh and I felt like having soup from Chow Noodle House in Hillcrest. It was perfect for such a cold evening!

There were some lovely flowers on our table. I took some pictures of them :)

Well, I hope you all enjoyed my quick summary of events. I hope everyone is well. I'd like to wish everyone a very happy holiday season! Keep your eyes open for my next post!
