And I agree with the previous commentator. Mothers always know when their son is gay. They may deny it, but they know. Love you guys.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36854750.post-65285253206163671802008-05-10T17:27:00.000-07:002008-05-10T17:27:00.000-07:00I also fell in love with my best friend. He broke my heart by explaining he didn't like labels, was going to marry a woman and have a kid, which he has done. I still carry that broken heart baggage.

Tiggah. Your mom knows LOL. You indeed are a celebrity. And all the moms ma dal dal (did I spell that correctly?). Parents are a lot more perceptive then we give them credit for being. You're in your twenties now but as you hit your thirties and beyond it becomes more apparent and the notion of confirmed bachelor doesn't fit the traditional Filipino family either. I not saying you should come to your parents, but good looking people who aren't married raise eyebrows. I personally like the Japanese method of don't ask don't tell.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36854750.post-30075537678360070042008-05-09T09:25:00.000-07:002008-05-09T09:25:00.000-07:00http://www.downelink.com/downetv/video.aspx?url=16...http://www.downelink.com/downetv/video.aspx?url=16811-Best-in-Short-Film-Peking-Turkey

--> I like it better than 'Summer'. I'm Filipino too, and painful as it was, I came out to my parents when I was in college. We didn't talk about it for years after that. Gradually my mom and I talked about it once in a while, but it was like denial with my dad. He's since passed away, and I regret not having real conversations about it with him; the saving grace is that he did meet my partner (or "friend," as they say) a few times and I know that my dad liked and trusted him. LOL, ok, not to be a downer... ;-)

Thanks for posting that film!
