Hmm...Where to eat, What to eat

(recyled image)

Pooh has recently decided to go back on his low carb diet. He maintained a very long and healthy low carb lifestyle for a couple years but decided to stop because he found the Abs Diet to be more effective. He feels that it's best that he goes Low Carb again...I guess. Pooh went from a LowfatDiet (eating nothing but rice and tofu), to Lowcarb, Southbeach Diet, to Abs Diet...now back to Low Carb. On each diet he stayed true and never cheated, he only switched when he wasn't seeing any results. The Low Carb Diet did prove to be more effective and had the most results. He ate right and worked out regularly...and that's why he's the hot sexy guy he is now!

I recently decided to go semi-vegetarian (often referred to as demi-vegetarian) and cut out all red meat from my food intake. And no, I'm not on a weightloss program/diet...it's a decision I've wanted to make for a very long time. I always wanted to be a vegetarian when I was younger, but growing up in a Filipino home, it was difficult. My dad would say "whatever we make you'll eat", and that was that. If you ever go to a Filipino family party they'll tell you, seriously, every 5 minutes to eat...right when you walk in the door they'll tell you "go eat!"...I guess it'd be an insult not to. As I got older I made the decision to stop eating pork, which still today I don't. I know it's silly but after watching the movie Fastfood Nation, I decided to remove Beef from the menu as well. I love seafood so I can't cut fish out of my diet...and as for chicken...ehh...I'm not really into poultry in the first place.

Anyway, with Pooh and I having nearly opposite eating habits (Pooh's mostly meat and no carb, and my no meat and lots and lots AND LOTS of carbs)...agreeing on a place to eat is a bit difficult, especially since we mostly eat out. I LOVE going out for dessert so it's going to be a challenge. We'll see how things go :)

My boy pointed out to me that I'm on a low carb diet. It wasn't a conscious decision on my part, I just like meat and dislike breads, pastas, rice, potatoes etc. And like u, he's opposite, carbs, carbs, carbs and almost went vegetarian before he met me. I've pulled him back to the meaty side of life. You sure you want to give up meat? (attach sexual connotations of meat here)

I think I would likes me a Filipino home, eating is GLORIOUS!

Thanks for the link-up btw.
